Birthplace:  Connecticut

Marital Status:  Married w/ one son
Height: 5 ft
Contest Weight:  95lbs
Off-season Weight:  100lbs

First Bodybuilding/Fitness Contest:   1996 Ms. Fitness Massachusetts. I placed 3rd and won the following year.

Best Contest Placing:  1st place at the Fitness Atlantic Pageant two years in a row. 11th place at the National Fitness America Pageant 2001

Role Models in Bodybuilding/Fitness:  I like Mia Finnegan - She has won all the major titles. Is very well informed about fitness and general health and wellness and has continued to maintain a wholesome image.

Bodybuilders/Fitness Competitors who physiques you most admire:  Laurie Vanniman because she is very muscular and vascular but still feminine and pretty, Cynthia Eckman~ because she is incredibly well proportioned and maintains it year round and she is small like I am! Also, Kim Dolan's physique is hard to beat!

Bodybuilders/Fitness Competitors or others in the business whose personalities you most admire:  Mia Finnegan

Highlight of Career:   Placing in the top twenty at the 2001 Fitness America Pageant was a thrill! I have competed in the Nationals for a couple of years and always sort of placed the "top twenty" gals on a pedestal. To be included among them was the best!

Biggest Disappointment of Career:  Placing 21st at the Fitness Universe Pageant and not competing in the final show ( with the top twenty.) After doing so well, previously, at the Nationals.

Best Body part:  I probably get complimented most on my legs but, I like my shoulders.

Worst Body part:  Abs - they are pretty good when I'm in competition form, but, add just a couple of pounds and they disappear. I must say they are definately improving, though. I work them extra hard because they are a problem area for me.

Favorite Exercise: I don't have a favorite exercise but I love working shoulders.

Least Favorite Exercise:  None

Traits you admire most in others:  I admire good parents, people with undying faith and people who are willing to do whatever it takes to win.

Traits you admire most in yourself:  I try to be humble, kind to others (especially if they are not kind to me) and patient.

Favorite Movie:   Grease

Favorite Group:   It changes with my mood. I like almost anything on the radio.

Favorite Writer:  That also changes with my mood. I like Steven King and Joyce Carol Oates. I read a lot of the books from Oprah's book club. Also, I used to like to read poems by Shel Silverstein to my son when he was younger.

Favorite Food:  Chicken Caesar Salad

Favorite Cheat Day Treats:  Ben & Jerry's, Jelly beans and peanut butter.

Favorite Automobile:  I'm not the Ferrari type. I like something classy but understated like the Lexus RX300 or the Cadillac Escalade.

Idea of a Perfect Vacation:  A spa retreat

Favorite TV Program:  The only program I watch on a regular basis is the Today show. Also, I always watch MTV while I do cardio.

What would you be doing if you weren't a Bodybuilding/Fitness Competitor?:   I would probably have more than one child.

Long Term Bodybuilding/Fitness Ambitions:  I would love to be on the cover of Oxygen! And to continue to spread the "Fitness Bug" to others particularly beginners!

What you like most about competing in Fitness?:  Being in great shape!

What you dislike most about Bodybuilding/Fitness?:  How others who aren't in the fitness field watch and comment on what and how I eat. I would tell others to keep in mind that this is just a sport and not to let it take over your life. Or, everything in moderation - even dieting and exercise.
